Fallout 76 patch 1/29 radical changes
When I fired up my Fallout 76 game after the patch was installed, I quickly became aware of just how radical the changes were. I immediately took notice of the fact that all explosives and explosive weapons were drastically reduced in power. How reduced? Grenade launchers, missile launchers, grenades and MIRV fatman are rendered to be not worthy of their carrying weight or the cost of resource to produce them. In most instances, a grenade round or a missile is now only as strong as a heavy gun. The result? I dumped all grenade and missile launchers, as well as grenades for caps. I also removed Demolition expert from my perk list as it takes up 5 specialty points and is no longer worth even 1. That is a big change right there. Next up is the radical price increases for plans. Luckily I have most of them. None of the things that would've made the game better were added, such as stash space or text in game. Everyone is radically figuring out what this game now means to them and how to adapt it to something even remotely resembling what they were doing before the patch. Thats just bad business in my opinion. I'll try to continue adapting to the changes, but no one is launching nukes out there or doing anything in a normalized way since this change. lets see if the coming days and weeks don';t have us all putting this game down and leaving west Virginia to the molerats and its devs.
